A welcoming community, where preschool homeschool families connect, play and grow together.
Where Learning and Community Grow Together
At Growing Roots Community Co-Op, we believe childhood is meant to be shared.
We're creating a space where children can follow their curiosity through play while families build friendships, encourage one another, and experience the joy of learning together.
Here, learning looks like a warm welcoming environment where children can explore, create, build friendships, and develop a lifelong love of learning through hands- on activities, art, sensory play, stories, music, science and seasonal experiences.

Our Team
Meghan Swingle
Founder / TeacherHi! I’m Meghan, and I’m a former teacher turned stay at home mom after my son was born. I have my Masters Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Rutgers, and have taught from preschool to middle school. Outside of the co-op I love spending time with my two sons, my husband & our dog. I enjoy reading & listening to true crime and going to concerts. As a mom and teacher, I wanted to create a program for families to be able to learn and grow together. I didn’t want to have to drop one or both boys off somewhere, so we worked to create an environment for everyone! Kids can play, adults can collaborate, and we can build our village together!
Founder / TeacherBrittany Rosell
Hi, I’m Brittany! I’m a former teacher and now a stay at home mom to my son. I have a B.A. in Elementary and Middle School Education with a TSD certification from Kean University. I’ve taught grades preschool through middle school including STEM programs. Outside of the co-op, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, baking and making meaningful memories with my son and husband. As both a mom and teacher, I wanted to create a warm and welcoming space where both children and parents can learn, explore and grow together!
